Volunteer Opportunities
Team and/or club representatives can earn $40 per verified hour worked at any Boosters Snack Shack shift available. There is no limit to the number of shifts a representative can cover for which their team or club can be paid; shift payout is determined by each Snack Shack’s Sign Up Genius and confirmed by signing the check in log in the Snack Shack on the day you work.
Students can also earn community service hours required for graduation for the time they volunteer. Students are responsible for filling out the required form, having it signed by the Snack Shack parent representative on duty, then turning it in to their counselor for volunteer credit.

Volleyball Games
Sign up here to volunteer for the volleyball snack shack, located inside the school by the gym.
Soccer Games
Sign up here to volunteer at soccer games which take place on the track field. The snack shack is the red container next to the field.

Football & Soccer
We encourage teams and clubs to fill all slots for stadium games. Visit the Sign Up to see what dates are available and contact us to claim a date for your team/club! Please do not sign up for slots until your team/club is confirmed for that game.
Basketball Games
Sign up here to volunteer for the basketball snack shack, located inside the school by the gym.
General Volunteering
Sign up here to volunteer for various events and projects during the 2026-27 school year.
Stadium Game Availability
We ask that clubs or teams take over staffing for entire stadium games. This gives groups the opportunity to earn money while building camaraderie with their teammates. Team/club parents must be involved for cashier/supervisory positions.
Please contact us to sign your Club or Team up for a game. DO NOT sign up for any slots unless your Club or Team has claimed it.

Board and Volunteer Positions
A lot of times, people hear “Truckee Boosters” and think we only support sports. This isn’t the case! We are the Truckee High Parent Teacher Organization Boosters, here to support ALL THS students and staff. We support teams, clubs, student events, celebrations, staff appreciation and more. We give to the school community wherever we can.
WE NEED YOU! You don’t have to have tons of time. We’ll take an hour, a few hours, and even just a great idea!
Many of our current board members have graduating seniors. We’d love to use this year as time to give incoming volunteers a chance to see how things work, jump in alongside our current board and learn the ins and outs of PTO Boosters before taking the reins. And we don’t just want you to carry on what we’ve always done. We want your ideas!
Our Next Meeting is Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 6:00 PM at FiftyFifty Brewing Company. Join us! Whether your student is an athlete, artist, musician, club member, scholar—or just figuring out where they fit—Come see what we’re all about, learn about volunteer positions or just enjoy meeting new people. Snacks will be served!
