The Class of 2026 Project Grad -

Safe and Sober Grad Night

Join in the longstanding tradition of sending our seniors on an epic graduation night adventure that is safe, sober, and FUN! 

​

Truckee High School Boosters is proud to support a Safe and Sober Graduation Event for our seniors. We want to honor them with a celebration that is fun, memorable, and free from drugs and alcohol. The exact details of the evening are a surprise for the students; all they need to know is that it will be an unforgettable night!

This special night requires significant planning, with costs covering transportation for the entire class of over 200 students, food, entertainment, and an all-night venue where they can safely celebrate together. 

​

Project Grad happens each year thanks to the generosity of parents and our community. Our goal is to raise enough funds so that every graduate can attend.​

​

Please consider donating to the 2026 Safe and Sober Graduation Celebration. The suggested donation is $150 per student, and additional contributions to support another student are greatly appreciated. Our goal is 100% student participation.​​

This event is not sponsored or approved by the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District or any schools of the District.

 

​About the Event and Sign Up

Dear Senior Class Parents,

Safe and Sober Grad Night is a long-standing THS tradition that provides our graduating seniors with a fun, memorable, and safe way to celebrate their big night.

Event Details

  • Date/Time: June 6, arrive @ 3:00 PM @ THS to check in.  

  • Students will begin with special entertainment before boarding buses around 5 PM to surprise locations.

  • Throughout the night, they will enjoy food, music, games, prizes, and activities in a fully chaperoned environment. 

  • Plenty of food will be provided throughout the evening with gluten-free options available. 

  • Return: Buses will return to the school the following morning, June 7th, between 5:30 and 6 AM

    • Online through our website, or by dropping off a check at the THS front office

Project Grad Safe & Sober Senior Night is a special tradition for all graduating seniors on graduation night.  This all night surprise excursion includes food, activities and fun in a safe supervised environment.

We are looking for junior parents to help volunteer and "pay it forward," just as senior families have done for us. And the next class will do for you.  Your support helps keep our teens safe from alcohol, drugs and late night driving - while creating lasting memories and giving parents peace of mind.  Thank you for being part of it!​​​​​​​​​
